CASSANDRA RAMDATH, PHD
Public Health & Safety Scholar | Community Engaged Researcher | Educator

Welcome
I am an applied researcher, educator, and mentor dedicated to reimagining public health and safety through community-driven, evidence-based solutions. With 15 years of experience, my work examines harm, violence, and systemic reform, centering the voices of those most impacted to address racial inequities at the intersection of public health and criminal justice.
As a committed educator, I train and mentor the next generation of scholars and practitioners in rigorous, community-engaged research, equipping them to challenge inequities and drive meaningful change. Rooted in my experience as a second-generation Indo-Caribbean immigrant, I am passionate about advancing justice-focused solutions that build safer, healthier, and more equitable communities.
